A genuine piece of New Zealand motorsport history. Built by Tony Lynch of Lynchbuilt for Keith Hamnett, this Chevette has competed in famous events across the country, including the Leadfoot Festival and various Targa and hillclimb events. On the outside it presents beautifully, you'd never picture it as a race-driven car, but underneath it's a purpose-built weapon from the ground up.
Full Lynchbuilt build: 1UZFE Toyota alloy V8 with forged internals, four 48mm Weber IDF carbs, dry sump, producing 327rwhp and 288 ft-lbs of torque
Toyota W55 Supra 5-speed gearbox with custom gear set, modified Hilux LSD 4.5:1 diff
Homologated 6-point roll cage, full HSR fibreglass body kit, structural chassis reinforcing
Front and rear Lynchbuilt suspension with Bilstein shocks throughout
Mazda RX7 4-pot front calipers, 294mm vented rotors
Top speed over 260kph, 8,500rpm rev limit, 50/50 weight split
Includes a custom-made trailer, paint-matched to the car, with built-in tyre storage
Two spare sets of wheels fitted with semi-slicks are included
