This 1,990cc BMW inline-four is built for racing, Modifications include high-compression pistons, Arrow connecting rods, forged steel rockers, dry-sump lubrication, electronic ignition, and a stainless steel exhaust header in addition to a lightweight clutch and flywheel. Induction is from dual 45 DCOE Weber carburetors that have been modified with 47mm bores. The engine is said to have approximately 13 hours of run time.
