1991 Nissan Pulsar GTiR-RB a genuine RB chassis that has been brought back to life after years off the road. This is an increasingly rare homologation model and has been kept true to its original heritage.
Finished in Ivory White with the iconic 1990s Nissan Rally livery, this GTi-R turns heads everywhere it goes and is becoming harder to find in genuine, unmodified condition.
Features:
Phase 1 GTiR was produced at Nissan's Tochigi plant (in the town of Kaminokawa, Kawachi District, Tochigi Prefecture, northern Kantō region). Plant code "M" on the chassis, 582 RB cars were built between 08/1990 and 04/1991. This car was a barn find just shy of 3 years ago and we have kept the car alive and well by sporting the iconic GTiR rally livery running on standard Pulsar RA wheels and brand new tyres. Just had a brand new walbro fuel pump, interior is completely stripped out and completely standard as it left the showroom back in 1991.
2 owners from new when it was imported from Japan on the 29th of December 2000. We have confirmed the gearbox is the original close ratio gearbox along with the close ratio diff with the bigger fins. The car is completely original to its vin tag other than the steel wheels.
The car is in its original colour KJ7 Ivory White, with its very simple light weight interior and wind up windows.
Features of the RB Model were as followed:
Weight: 30kg lighter (non structural, the bulk via omssion of air con and power windows).
Closer-ratio gearbox (option - 77% fitted).
Side mirrors: Black plastic (not colour-coded, standard - no power adjustment, could be optioned).
Umbrella holder: None (a vent in place, standard).
Rear diff housing: Larger cooling fins (standard).
Wheels: Alloys (standard).
Air conditioning: None (option).
Power Window: None (option).
Interior: Base-model Pulsar (vinyl trim, basic seats, rubber gearstick boot, plastic gear knob, plastic steering wheel, standard).
Exterior paint colour: Standard colour was Ivory White KJ7 (59% made in KJ7)
ABS: None (not an option).
The car itself is super rare and hardly ever any RBs come up for sale as people tend to hold onto them. This is a totally rare opportunity to find an original car with 99% of the build sheet still as per chassis number on the car, wether you want to race it and make it a true race/rally car or a garage queen there is one thing for sure its an investment.
